Pros

I do think the experiences you can play through are enjoyable, and I like my coworkers, but this company has nothing to do with who my coworkers are as people.

Cons

This is a business that should be run like a family fun center with a focus on customer satisfaction, but instead it's run like a bougie tech company with the only focus being profits. Operating hours are constantly reduced across the board, even if you're one of the busiest stores in the company. Despite that, they want team sizes of 13+ people for the average store, so if you're not a Store Manager then this won't pay your bills. And, if you are a Store Manager, to counter the lack of hours, you're probably going to be asked to work 12+ hour days by yourself with no breaks, which is illegal in basically every state. You get to make one order of supplies each month based on your profits, but corporate has free reign to just cancel it for whatever reason they want. They've restructured who's in charge of corporate stores twice now, both times firing almost everyone who was in charge with barely any notice, and now there's a staff shortage for who manages the stores, so some Store Managers get roped in to doing jobs and work they didn't sign up for. The IT Team you need to contact for help on tech issues is also a complete gamble on if they're helpful or not. My store has had multiple issues just get completely ignored when we've submitted them. Occasionally we can follow up and get it taken care of, but only if we report the issue multiple times a day for weeks. I've had the tech support feed me just wrong information multiple times, get mad at me for reporting things, and give up and tell me I'm on my own. There are also obvious things this company should provide that it doesn't already. Why isn't there an easily accessible games list for guests to pick from in the store? Why aren't there guides for putting on the trackers, which is the most confusing part? Why is the refund policy in some archaic, tiered priority system that punishes people who have emergencies? Also, I understand they don't want stores to abuse the ability, but why can't we shut down rooms if we need to? If we are short-staffed, we shouldn't have to run 4 rooms of potentially 24 people with only 1-2 employees. I've had to turn away or reschedule multiple people who come in when I'm alone because I'm already running multiple rooms, but the website shows availability, making guests mad. Or whenever something in a room is non-functional and we need to fix it, we should be able to take that room down to fix that issue and then put it back up once it's ready. It shouldn't be difficult to operate a company where you get paid to watch people scream and shoot zombies. However, aside from my liking my coworkers, I struggle to think of anything this company does that makes sense for what they say their business model is. And it's really funny that they get upset that you're not selling a $7 upgrade weapon in every booking, even when you're making them thousands of dollars daily on bookings.
