Pros

Chill job not a lot to it very chill environment

Cons

Equipment is terrible and management lowkey kinda expects you to be okay with it and to try and lie to customers about it. Management also picks favorites no matter how hard you work.

Pros

Much more enjoyable experience then working as a food service worker with a much more intimate and fun environment.

Cons

Corporate control is off the wall and everything is such a mess internally. There is a complete disconnect between employees and their bosses. Stores were all understaffed, under equipped and set up horribly. Corporate places standards way too high on a service that they could not even describe. While it’s a decent part time job, working here full time will make you want to rethink your line of work within a few months.

Pros

-The product is innovative and creates a "wow factor" for anyone trying it. -The head of the content team/ Hong Kong office is brilliant and eloquent. -Real estate and franchise sales are a great team (they saved the company)!

Cons

US leadership is morally bankrupt, and they don't have a choice to operate any other way (with the macro situation). Any 6 figure job at Sandbox VR is filled by nepotism. The way they handled Covid in these stores was unethical and illegal. The way they handled it ended up causing me health issues that still linger. Several stores in CA were operating as "underground open" during the shutdowns across the US (specifically running the store despite mitigations.) I'm not the biggest Covid freak, but this experience was incredibly stressful to be in the middle of. A giant tug of war. I was put in an awkward position to answer "When can we reopen the store"? Anyone who didn't cooperate in the little underground operation was fired. If you got sick working at SB like me you'll know exactly how they feel about their frontline workers (even the ones who sacrificed the most).
