      Poor morale Frequent random layoffs Pay competeitive to start then no increase. High turnover in engineering 33% in a year.

      Don't Come Here for Career Advancement--only experience

      Pros

      Excellent way to gain experience. Peers are hardworking/willing to go the extra mile to achieve company goals and customer satisfaction.

      Cons

      There have been very little to no increases in compensation in 4 years. 401K matches have been suspended indefinitely. Upper management sees employees as "an expense" rather than an asset. Frequent "reductions in force" or layoffs. Very low morale company wide.

      SCI offers a bleak future to its employees

      Pros

      Gain experience in a fast paced work environment with a wide variety of responsibilities. SCI is a good place to learn end to end electronics manufacturing.

      Cons

      Cuts of recent years have reduced the engineering and management teams to skeletons of what they were. Although trimming was necessary, the cuts have been too deep and the company is suffering. Employee morale is low and customer satisfaction is on the decline. SCI is not intereseted in keeping its best and brightest... people are a commodity no different then an electronic part.
