      Silicon Valley unhappiest company to work for!

      Pros

      There lots of great team member with can do attitude.

      Cons

      In my 20+ years in Silicon Valley this is the worst place to work. It is true Sanmina is rank #2 worst place to work in Silicon Valley. Low pay below average. There long work hrs including weekend/holidays. Very high stress environment. Many peoples there because pay check. Lots of them so afraid to loss their job so they take verbal abuse from manager. There so much high turn over in production. They hire lots of temp and no chance to be permanent. Most of production operator working 7 days including holidays. If you think about joint this company please think very very hard. You will be better off somewhere else with the same low pay.

      Pros

      The place is highly disorganized and seems to have no long term planning. This does, oddly, provide space to carve out a niche for yourself if you're willing to put in the effort and champion your cause.

      Cons

      I worked at the Owego facility. Lying to customers was constant, even when specific customers were described as "what's keeping the plant open right now." Morale was nonexistent, and costs were almost entirely controlled with endless series of layoffs and rehiring. Pay was far below industry averages.

      -This company does know how to select awesome employees with great work ethic and ability. -Insurace is good, if you can afford it. -If you are offered a job here-negotiate a higher salary, it will not increase.

      Cons

      -No advancement opportunity. -No 401K Match -Insurance costs have increased dramatically. -No Pay increases. -Middle manager's hands are tied. -Unhappy employees, low moral. -Motivation, ambition, self-esteem/confidence killers. -A pat on the back is nice, but don't expect to be compensated or promoted for sparkling work. -Attempts to apply for higher positions within the company are frowned upon.
