      Pros

      The pay is average, and the pay raises stick, but the employee benefits more than make up for it. People are cooperative and easy to work with, with very few "difficult personalities" in the mix. Generally a laid-back atmosphere.

      Cons

      There are promotions from within, but only for upper management. Regular employees below the director level will have to look elsewhere if they want to advance in their careers. There is no attempt at providing career development, even for employees who ask for it. There is no formal mentoring/shadowing system. You have to pretty much luck out in your manager to get more than the basics, and even the good ones don't have a whole lot of leeway.

      Pros

      Committed to helping very specific patients with rare diseases. you would find it's a big self-fulfillment when they eventually get the attention from payors and physicians.

      Cons

      unstable market due to the attitude of the payors. So have to do a lot to maintain the funds. Something it's very hard but is only way we could do.
