Pros

The benifits are better than most comparable companies, such as PTO, 401k, tuition reimbursement and a yearly bonus.

Cons

Since a 130 person layoff in 2017 there has been an extremely high turnover rate.. unfortunately most of the talented hardworking contributors are expected to take on larger and larger workloads to make up for attrition.. without additional compensation.. which leads to more turnover... more overworking... and even more turnover.

Pros

The 401k is the best thing about this place.

Cons

If you work in manufacturing be prepared to be treated like a second rate worker. Your life outside work doesn't matter, be prepared to work alot more then they say. If you have experience, that doesn't matter either. In 4.5 years of working there, I've had 16 supervisors, 5 managers and 4 directors.

Pros

There are some great people here. I spent over 10 years here in various roles and made lifelong friendships. If you’re willing there are substantial development opportunities here. What sanofi lacks in IC and innovation they make up for it by giving opportunities to inexperienced leaders.

Cons

Company cultures are cyclical. There are good times and bad times. The pandemic was a difficult time.. inept and absent sr. Leadership created a communication vacuum, and due to years of not spending time with customers and relying on arrogant and out of touched marketers created a “no win environment”. New leadership had to take action… any action was appropriate due to years of inaction. When I left times weren’t good… and high turnover rates continue. There legacy sanofi sr leaders got into their roles by making sacrifices and taking unpopular assignments… when markets change, and customers evolve as a more sophisticated buyer… legacy sanofi people cling to this 1990s “Jack Welch” style leadership that is negative, and metric drive… leadership including contracting, pricing, marketing, and market access struggles to work together to create a competitive offer… leadership can’t lead sales teams and influence internal stakeholders to bring about pricing, contracting changes for a competitive offer over the next few years… so they resort to managing the only thing they can… which is activity and all the other stuff besides sales.
