Pros

The benefits and the people. Gigs are available if you want to network outside of your group to test the roles in other departments. Work from home options also very nice. Services on site are excellent and even an onsite Walgreen’s

Cons

No mobility unless you are part of the in crowd. Very very political. Here it is definitely who you know. Also much much outsourcing. Pay is at the lower end of industry.

Pros

Good place to work. Have good benefits. 401(k) matches 150% for up to 6% of the salary. 2 weeks vacation time to start with which goes to 3 weeks when one works 5 years at the company. Last week of the year is closed for every employee. They also reimburse for tuition and provides a lot of materials to up skill their employees. If you’re starting a family, they provide support for IVF process as well as adoption - not 100% but a good portion.

Cons

One of the downsides is that they do a lot of reorganization, which keeps the employees on their toes at all time. During my 7 years in the company I have seen 6 reorganizations.
