Pros
Good boss (this seems to be rare) Autonomy Responsibility Given my role as an intern, I was almost left to work independently which was a big plus, since I think this is rare.
Cons
Poor company culture Lots of attrition Working in the Allston Landing Facility, I noticed that there were people leaving every week -- just from our department alone. Many co-workers expressed frustration with Genzyme culture, and the lack of support and empathy from upper management towards retention and development of staff.
