      Culture has changed for the worst..

      Pros

      Great work/life balance. Very nice and smart people from Spain, Brazil, etc..very diverse culture, and used to be an enjoyable work environment.

      Cons

      While the bank is transitioning into a more of a 'modern' bank, the small and intimate culture has changed for the worst. It is understandable for the bank to change and adapt to be competitive, however if that's the case, the salary for employees (speaking only of SGBM) should also be competitive. For those employees who has been there for more than 3 years are extremely underpaid, and very below market. And, a lot of great employees have resigned for that reason.

      Pros

      The pros I have are not really enough to mention the only thing I do like is my co workers that are left. that is probably the only reason I stuck around as long as I have. I have been through the whole merger and it wasn't easy when they laid off our whole staff and it has been a revolving door for employees since then who are just disgusted from being overworked.

      Cons

      Staffing is always an issue. Customer complaints are high and there is no resolution. They want you to continue to do more with little to no resources. I do not have the time in a day to finish even one task because I am so overwhelmed with work because we do not have enough help sometimes I get interrupted at my lunch to help. The system is always crashing there are many times when we can't help the customers because of it. There is no communication and no real leadership. The list goes on and on. I leave work uneasy and frazzled rather than feeling a sense of accomplishment.

      Pros

      Great team and learning environment. Great 401k benefits. Flexible hours. Casual dress. WFH day. Good commute. Yearly bonus. Raise every 6 months. SCUSA supports career exploration. Asks for employees input.

      Cons

      Under paid. Management knows this but doesn't do anything about it. Below average PTO. No paternity/maternity leave. The company keeps under performing employees that hinder Productivity. Very "I want it yesterday" attitude. Terrible processes. Asks for employee input but doesn't apply them.
