Pros

My paycheck was the only think to look forward to.

Cons

Where do I begin? I'll start by saying that if you are seriously considering a job at this bank, please reconsider. The management is terrible and this starts at the top. Everyone is scared of their boss and their boss is scared of upper management. There is a VERY negative culture. It is both unprofessional and demeaning. Every single employee at the company is micro managed. This isn't limited to just one position but is engrained in the company protocol. My paycheck is the only thing that kept me around for the time I was there. It is a sweatshop and you'd be best served to RUN not walk away from a job offer. There are plenty of other banks to work for. THEY 100% earned their awful glassdoor rating.

Pros

Aren't a lot of budget or time constraints. Normal operations will take however long they will take and cost whatever it will cost. But if there is a huge deal on the line, then it is a "deliver at all costs" mentality. They'll bring in lunch & dinner to keep the machine going.

Cons

Immature with processes & procedure. High rate of change and resource attrition. Short-term planning because goals seem to change every other day.

Pros

They try to build a positive culture. Feeble attempts, but out side of IT is is better

Cons

IT is a toxic place to be and quality of life is non-existent. Authoritarian leadership and i use leadership loosely. Upper management does not listen to the experts who work on items daily. Lack of education and a failure to embrace the talent that is showing what needs to be done. Upper leadership are friends of friends and have zero fundamental skills of leading.
