Thank you for sharing your experience. The work we do at SavATree is hands on, physically demanding, and often unpredictable, and that is a core part of the arboriculture profession. We are pleased to hear you found value in the variety of the work and the opportunity to stay active in the role. We continue to focus on providing the training, equipment, and support needed for our teams to perform their work safely and effectively. We appreciate your time with SavATree and wish you continued success in your career.

Good ol’ boys club

Pros

Safety culture is very strong.

Cons

Literally lied to every single employee during their merger. Absolutely trashed employee benefits. Claim to be “locally owned” according the Carbondale chamber of commerce and are most definitely not local owned. Corparate office is in Buffalo New York. I invested near 7 years of a twenty year career here and was let go when I could no longer make a 3 hour drive in 2 hours. This was a daily commute for me and that I did for 6 years while being continually back seated to other employees and lied to constantly. Toxic work environment based on obfuscation and manipulation as opposed to transparency and honesty. It’s a “family” meaning they will give special treatment to blood relatives and treat everybody else as “policy.” Yeah I’m salty but honest too.
