Pros

Great support provided at Savage across each team. For the FP&A team, most people are willing to assist with your work and are happy to help in any way.

Cons

The FP&A team has extremely limited growth opportunities. Savage had no problem letting people leave and not replacing that team member. Instead, they would happily add workloads to the remaining team members with the expectation that your deliverables would remain unchanged. This prevented growth opportunities for tenured members that were now not able to deliver beyond the basic expectations. That is, unless you were willing to give up time with your family.

Pros

Culture is awesome. My coworkers are awesome and conflict is minimal. Job is reflective of wage.

Cons

The company was not prepared to take me on. Training was not outlined, and it took forever to get access to the multiple systems/software/logins I needed for the job. This was the same for HR; I had to be the one to confirm working hours, first-day plans, and sadly, they let my I-9 paperwork expire, so I had to do it again. I also had to reach out for holidays, benefits, dress-code, pto schedule. Very frustrating!
