Pros

Savage provides a lot of opportunity to learn accounting and grow as a person. There is almost no drama in the accounting department itself. Everyone is willing to help out and lend a hand. There is a lot of opportunity for growth within the company itself, The leaders are also very patient and competent.

Cons

Compensation isn’t horrible but it isn’t always related to the job expectations you are required to take on. Staff accountants are doing Accountant and Senior level work without being compensated for it.

The pay is comparable. There is a cafe on the ground level that has decent food for a reasonable price.

Cons

The managers are terrible. In-office gossip is rampant, and there is an atmosphere of patriarchy and a certain dominant religion.
