When Savvas spun-off from Pearson it was an opportunity to create a new company with a new culture and approach in the learning space. I think we're off to a great start! We’re a new/old company with a lot of experience and deep and wide expertise. One of the best things about working at Savvas is the support we get from upper management. While work can be intense at times, I always feel that my contributions are appreciated and valued. The working teams are focused, collaborative, and supportive. We have a great group of people all across the country and I can't imagine anyplace else I'd rather be working, especially during these COVID-times.

Cons

No negatives from me but the one thing I look forward to: working in offices with my colleagues. That's an important piece many of us are missing.

Good colleagues. Generally, good mission and purpose to support schools

Cons

Poor communication. Often times one or two people are allowed to make work miserable for others. Leadership ignores the toxic people of money is being made.

Work from home, so short commute.

Cons

WFH should be flexible, as an adult, I should be treated that I can be trusted to get my work done. If I am up and running at 7am, why am I waiting until my "on time" to start? I've had to retain myself to think about this job and how it is like a retail job--when I start, taking my breaks, and when my end time comes, I slam that laptop shut and don't think about work.
