Pros

It's a good distillery to work at and a lot of good people work there.

Cons

The company doesn't work well with the union. It could be a better place to work if the company would work better with the union but they won't.

Pros

Great brands, great history! It's a large portfolio but Sazerac hits everything from high end to low end products with amazing stories to tell.

Cons

The reviews below about doing two jobs is pretty accurate. You'll be expected to do more work than any other typical liquor supplier. Internal growth, this barely exists at Sazerac. If you're lower than a state manager, well you'll always be there. As for State Managers, they are barely promoted either, people do not move from sales to marketing or vice versa. If you like your job, great, if you expect to learn and move around in new roles while at Sazerac, that most likely will not happen. Also for sales, it helps to be a guy in this company.

Pros

Good brand portfolio and recognition.

Cons

High turn over, lean to the point of no coverage, the expectation from management is to pay you for 40 hours and you work 80. Very passive aggressive management that makes business decisions based on mood. Most managers are former brown-forman wash outs. Core values and culture are preached to new hires, but when it comes time to spend time with family, managers state you are not dedicated to the company. The company operates under two entities. Its not illegal but, you do have to do duplicate work to keep up with the demand of working for two businesses but only being paid by one.
