Cons

You have to sell a credit card to customers. Hard to advance unless you have personal connections with management. Culture is pretty conservative in the store.

Pros

Employee owned, flexible work schedule. The company really wants quality people working there. Three interviews and a drug test. Very odd for a minimum wage retail job, but it is what it is.

Cons

Watch your back! Scheels has a very strict employee discount program. You aren't allowed to use any form of payment other than your own, even if it's your parents (who you live with )credit card. Coworkers will turn you in! Scheels definitely has a drink the Kool-Aid type culture
