Pros

- Benefits are unmatched by any firm in the industry - Fully paid health insurance - Full 401k match up to 10%!!! - Two weeks off over the holidays - NO TIME REPORTING - Set fee engagements allows personnel to focus on quality work rather than staying on budget and tracking time - Company sponsored vacation annually (Vegas, Key West, Universal Studios, etc) - Excellent methodology and technology in place to promote efficiency - Company sponsored certification training - Excellent company culture with collaborative feel - Surrounded by professionals who are experts in their field of focus. If you are not an expert in a particular area in this firm you will be one before too long

Cons

Pros

Schellman and Co’s leadership is excellent. Leadership seeks talented and professional staff experienced at assessments and other subject matter experts to keep the organization running smoothly and efficiently. Schellman is the most generous company I’ve ever work for. Not only is management generous with sharing information such as recognition emails, variety of training and every other Tuesday company meeting, financial rewards are generous too. Salaries are excellent, quarterly bonuses are distributed, the 401K matching is 10%, an annual trip is fully paid for the employee and a guest, holiday gift choices were available to everyone and, as a single person, my monthly health care rate is covered by the company. Working from home is the norm. What company does this anymore?

Cons

The only possible con is there’s always lots of work but that keeps us employed!

Pros

Great company to work for. - Great people and great culture; very positive - Quality of the work is second to none; which helps you in your professional career. Working here will make you better at your job. - Excellent compensation - Excellent benefits (medical and personal) - Very competent peers - Management is very personable and helpful. They want you to succeed and will work with you to excel in your career. - Training is provided (CISSP / CISA / CCSK / Bootcamps) - On-boarding of new hires is excellent; they go all out to make sure you are able to get up and running and the Tampa, FL office is great! - Work from home on weeks you are not traveling to client - Schellman has an excellent reputation within the industry - Favorite thing about working for Schellman is all of the above

Cons

It is really hard to have a con for this company. I would say that at times throughout the year, the schedule can get hectic, but if you are doing this line of work, it should be nothing you're not used to doing.
