      Cool CEO and relatively good company, hit or miss engineering and terrible engineering management.

      Pros

      The CEO is cool, there are good benefits, pay is reasonable for Tampa, and the colleagues are generally fun and enjoyable people.

      Cons

      These people know how to audit software, but not how to build it. They won't be able to build anything serious unless they seriously reevaluate their practices and leadership. Since I've left, it seems like they may have started doing so.

      Easy to burnout but still feels worth it

      Pros

      Great benefits and lots of flexibility. Working remotely is great but does have its downsides. Very smart people and interesting clients. Unique approach to providing assurance.

      Cons

      The way projects are structured make burnout inevitable. You are usually at a client for the last 2 weeks of their review period which makes it stressful knowing your work will likely not be reviewed until after the period is over. Some managers are usually too busy to provide support to their seniors, but that's ok because it really isn't the manager's fault. It is difficult to improve reports you work on knowing that any potential issue or change from the previous year will lead to more work. Most seniors rely on google for technical help due to the lack of system specific training.

      A company this amazing is so hard to find!

      Pros

      It's so rare to find a company that listens to suggestions and lets their employees implement their ideas and initiatives. Since it's a smaller firm, it's easy to contribute and stand out. The benefits are great and we do lot of team-building events.

      Cons

      None that I can think of.
