      The leadership/management team care deeply about the employees, the benefits and pay are great, the ability to work fully remote, and the ability to work in a rapidly growing field.

      I thought 100% I was getting out of the public accounting space until I met the Schellman team

      Pros

      I realized that everything that is disliked from the typical "CPA" firm is what Schellman truly prides themselves on not being like. Second to none is a core value and that's truly the case. Manager level and above actually want to help the others learn and grow versus just get the work done and move on to the next project. The training and systems in place to help new hires learn how to immediately start producing quality work is a super value add.

      Cons

      If you don't like remote work, it could be an issue. Travel will probably never be the same as it was pre-covid. Some big cities have offices but not all team designated areas have offices so if you want an office you would have to be specific with location.
