Not everyone is your friend. Including those in management. A trainer assigned to me told me after a week of riding with me on the job that he came to the conclusion that I was on the Autism spectrum. Whether that's true or not as I have never been diagnosed as that by a medical professional, the trainer had no business making that call. Other times, when out on a job and DOT time was exceeded, management decided to fudge the hours illegally so as to make it look like the drivers were within DOT regulations when the opposite was the case. Also, management doesn't care about you. They only care about moving freight. Your health is no concern of theirs and they will penalize you if you don't come to work even if it isn't safe to do so. Schneider claims they are about safety, but the truth is, they care about moving freight more than they care about you. They also made me drive trucks that were in poor repair and weren't safe to drive. Be careful who you work for.

Trucks won't idle until outside temperatures are either 70+ or below 20. Leads to some cold nights. My route description was changed from Midwest regional, to everything east of the rockies, and was not notified and expected to roll with it.
