Pros

The hours are great but that's it.

Cons

Management is horrible. They don't care about anything except money unless if you're part of their clique. Then they care about you. Everyone is micro managed and all you do is make cold calls and talk time is a big deal. If you don't have a top ten account your customer doesn't matter so if you lose that customer, they expect you to find another one within seconds. Their goals are ridiculous and have nothing to do with market trends. They send out way too emails that have nothing to do with the job. Their incentive program is a joke. It's designed to keep you at base salary... Unless if you have a top ten account... Which you won't because those are santa claused. They will sell you the job so don't worry about selling yourself at the interview.

Pros

Schneider National strongly believes in work/life balance for its associates and works on growing their personnel. Associates receive a good benefit package, not great one. This is a good stable employer to grow one's skill set and then move on to bigger and better roles elsewhere.

Cons

Schneider National possesses a very silo oriented structure, which creates difficulties with communications and aggressive business relationships between teams or other lines of business within the enterprise. Individual growth chances in terms of career advancement is relatively slim due to current organizational inertia.
