Pros

Good people and environment. Cross Department communication lines well established. Company mission statement is a very good one. Everyone is passionate to provide books to all children.

Cons

Trickle down initiatives from Corp can take time. Lack of better technology at sales branches can make the job challenging.

Pros

Good working conditions and decent benefits. Most other associates were friendly and helpful.

Cons

Way behind in technology. For a company as large as it is they were lacking a lot! Managers in my experience were not willing to listen or help associates. Striclty there to put in their time and get paid and make themselves look as good as possible to Sr Management.

Great people, great product, uneven leadership

Pros

Great coworkers, the work you do has a positive impact on teachers' and students' lives, decent benefits, decent office. It can be chaotic but it's rarely dull. Always something new to work on.

Cons

Some of the senior leadership is great and supportive, others are either ego-driven / neurotic. Raises are regularly very small but there are opportunities for advancement and occasionally small bonuses for employees not on a bonus plan. Working late is expected.
