Some areas and managers do their best to stay flexible and help you if you need it. ESOP program is strong especially with all the growth the company has seen recently.
Cons
There is definitely an element of who youre related too/who you know. This is a local company in a small town, so last names can get you more leeway or opportunities. Its a conservative area so being openly queer isn't always accepted. Despite open door policies and the idea that you can push back on ideas if you dont agree, if someone with a certain last name or job title asks then youre supposed to smile and nod.
