Pros
SEL is situated in a very close-knit community. Few of the 900 or so employees 'commute' in the traditional sense that many experience in large cities/suburbs. The managers/supervisors are all extremely dedicated to their work and subordinates. I not only felt as if I was treated with respect, but felt my ideas were valued. I was allowed to take my won ideas, and move forward with them, actually getting to be involved in 'real' work as a first year intern in Accounting.
Cons
The pay scale offered (at least in the Finance dept) seems a bit under par. I made friends with many of the other 30 interns (mostly electrical engineering), and of course one student to the next, intern pay was shared. Other than the sub-prime pay, there really is not much anyone could plan to complain about with this company.
