      Pros

      It refreshing to work with an organization so focused on doing the right thing for employees, customers and the community. The sense of pride that comes from being an employee-owner is apparent throughout the organization. Friday Lunch is a great benefit!

      Cons

      Parking is sometimes limited if there is an event on site and you may have a short distance to walk in the winter months to get to your building.

      Pros

      Interesting work, good people, serious focus on quality. I love the weekly Friday Lunch. The facilities are really nice. SEL is employee owned (an ESOP), which for people who stay for many years becomes an excellent retirement plan. Some of the projects that SEL is involved in are the kind that are incredibly cool from a humanitarian perspective.

      Cons

      Because we have a badged entry system, you can't have visitors very easily. If my mom wants to bring me a sandwich for lunch, she can't get in.

      Pros

      Good pay, excellent benefits, free Friday lunch, there is definitely an attempt to treat employees well.

      Cons

      I worked on the floor in manufacturing, and the amount of overtime, constant pressure to work fast, and working on weekends was highly draining, and even though I was paid well, I look back on my employment there as one of the more depressing times of my life.
