Engineering headed in the right direction

Pros

Because of the company's growth and maturity, we are seeing greater investment in R&D and focus on big picture items. We're going outside our comfort zone with some of the initiatives so there is huge potential for personal and company growth. We have engineering advocates placed in middle & senior management positions who are bringing better balance to our priorities. Political capital is earned with merit. Because of the nature of the product you will be exposed to many different technical areas.

Cons

The current application of Agile seems to benefit managers more than contributors. Work can be overly task-oriented. Tons of technical debt to pay down. We are at least oriented in the right direction, but progress has been frustratingly slow.

An awesome company to work for. Management is constantly asking for input and they are readily accessible for any problem that may arise. You are are also given free reign to complete projects/tasks without being micromanaged. Overall the atmosphere is young, hip and very active. If you are so lucky to get an offer...TAKE IT

Cons

Things can be some what chaotic and really unorganized. But other than that nothing really.
