Pros

The company has been and is projected to be extremely successful for the near future. ScienceLogic's employee culture is fledgling, but growing in the right direction. More culture-minded hires are needed to further define the corporate cultural zeitgeist. For individuals new to the industry or right out of school, ScienceLogic is a great place to get your foot in the door on the next big thing. Compensation is competitive, and the potential opportunity for the company is large. ScienceLogic's CEO is the company and employees' greatest cheerleader, and is an all-around great person.

Cons

The greatest threat to ScienceLogic is not hiring the correct individuals, but overall, ScienceLogic has made good hiring decisions. In some cases, team members are in positions where they have had past successes, but are no longer the correct resources to maximize the company's growth. Management needs to do a better job of putting team members in situations where they can materially impact the organization and drive the expansion of the business. Work-life balance actualization is comparable to or slightly better than other high-growth IT software companies.

Pros

1. Great culture. Everyone from the CEO on down cares about everyone else. 2. The company is growing and opportunities for growth abound. We are bringing on a number of large marquee accounts and are well poised to take this company to new heights. 3. The product is unmatched in its space. 4. We are on the cusp of the hybrid IT and Cloud drive. 5. Fantastic healthcare coverage. 6. Great work hard, play hard environment.

Cons

1. Given that it is a start-up culture, we have to be quite nimble and sometimes there are some fire drills that have to happen quickly to capitalize on the opportunity presented. 2. There isn't a lot of flexibility to work from home which can be a bummer. 3. The 401k leaves a bit to be desired only a 25% match. Relatively low for the industry. 4. They seem to be a bit stingy with the PTO (generally only two weeks given), but the reality is this is a high growth company. In those companies you need all hands on deck at all times working hard. 5. I honestly don't have too many more issues with the place that I can report. I am generally quite happy here.

Pros

I have only been there a few months but already feel way more connected and involved than I was at my previous company. This is a busy startup in a hot space - cloud - so it can get crazy of course, but working with strong players makes it fun. Hard work is appreciated and the rewards are there. I definitely have a sense that this is the A-team - customers love the product and have been with it a long time because they get a lot of value from it. I expect to be here a long time.

Cons

Typical startup challenges - not as much support as you sometimes want - and sometimes communication could be better - but nothing major.
