Pros

Great culture and teamwork. People are generally friendly and supportive to help clients and grow the company. Good positive energy from people (it helps that the company is growing fast).

Cons

Some growth pains. Some occasional challenges with people not answering emails (just need to stop by their desk).

The Best Company I have ever worked for!

Pros

Although ScienceLogic is not the first software company that I have worked for, it is clearly the best! If you like working in a fast paced environment with a lot of very smart people, I would highly recommend it. Benefits included unlimited vacation, stock options, 401k match, a great health care plan, company softball team, pickup basketball games, annual Nationals baseball game, picnics, Christmas party at the Hyatt Regency, free lunches all the time, March Madness and football pools, Chili cook offs, Halloween parties, and more

Cons

Because of our fast growth, there are many exciting changes happening all the time. Certain employees do not embrace change easily, and if you are one of these, then this is likely not the place for you.

Poor Leadership and Toxic Culture

Pros

Ability to work from home depending on your manager, free soda and food, new office space for engineering, service delivery, and HR.

Cons

There are only a couple of women at the director level (mainly in HR), none higher or on the executive team. If you go to HR with a concern or proof of mistreatment, they will not take action or resolve the issue and HR will not keep your confidential conversation private - numerous conversations have been shared openly with staff in other departments. The culture has significantly declined along with leadership and become negative due to a lack of communication, empty core values, an isolated environment, very few employee events which tend to be poorly planned, and executives hiring family members to work directly in their department.
