Pros

Great opportunity to learn on each and every project, all the freedom to review live information to gain most valuable knowledge and able to challenge one if desire to.

Cons

Good training for basic 80% of the work; however, in order to gain as top level there is no set route to getting there. This can be a PROS and CONS it all depends on individual.

Downhill since WMS was acquired.

Pros

Cool building, interesting products and industry, opportunities to collaborate with innovative and talented coworkers. Wide range of areas (hardware, software, content) working together is unusual and rewarding.

Cons

Since the merger with Bally, the "Bally way" has taken over. Where collaborative problem solving would once be the norm, "stay in your swim lane" feels like the new motto. Opportunities for improvement are regularly ignored because "we've done it like this for years". Many Chicago employees believe it is only a matter of time before the office is closed and positions are relocated to Las Vegas. Morale is at an all-time low and many people are pursuing other opportunities.
