Pros

Complex, challenging work. Software must work or customers and SG lose money. Attention to detail and quality required. Bring your "A" Game. You get to eat the dog food you've created. Global biz, opportunities to travel.

Cons

Teams are small so are often responsible for support escalations. Advances and salaries increases are difficult. Some technology stacks are dated. Regulations make it difficult to innovate.
