Suffers from the good old boy syndrome - Too many senior level managers were connected with SPAWAR which promotes a myopic view of BD.

Pros

The workhours are good, and it enables you to keep in contact with military contracting. The people are good to work with and try the best they can to get you continuing employment.

Cons

Scientific Research Corp is basically a temp agency. The minute you are not against a contract, they will furlough you. Other defense contractors will put you "on the beach" for a period until the next contract.

Cons

a bit too much old boy networks, sometimes forgets that they are in a service industry where the customer wants what your people can provide, not who you were.
