Base salary was below market standards. Management consistently created a difficult and demotivating environment, making it the most challenging leadership dynamic I've encountered. Before you are even offered a job for the inside Sales Department you will have been given less than factual statements about your earning potential. They will claim there is a chance to make six figures.. but you won’t come close. They paint a beautiful picture of a base, commission and bonuses; but little do you know - the base is low, the percentage of commissions paid is much less than comparable companies pay, and they will likely set your quota high enough to negate your potential of a bonus. You will be micromanaged and subjected to meetings with no purpose other than giving a narcissistic, pompous character with anger management issues and a huge sense of entitlement, a platform from which to belittle whomever is the chosen target of the day. It’s all about control and climbing the corporate ladder, gleefully crushing anyone who gets in their way. And the saddest part of all is the C Suite has been told about this behavior repeatedly and continues to pat them on the back and indulge them.

Where do I begin? I applied for this position because it stated that it was entry-level. Meaning, you do not need any prior experience. I worked for the company for 8 months and they fired me because they were heading in a different direction. The manager is a micromanager and never allowed you to be your own person. In a meeting, before I was wrongfully fired, the manager asked if I was ready to do things on my own. I told her I was but will need more knowledge in the pharmacy medication field, only because I felt that I wasn't properly trained. She agreed that what I was saying was true. Then two weeks later they let me go. No warning or heads up. I knew in my heart that I didn't belong there. From day one, no one really spoke to me on the team. If they did, it seemed to be forced. I'm sure I met some sort of diversity quota for the company. Because I was treated that scum the 1st day on that campus.
