Pros

Nice location, nice co-workers, nice snacks, some cool tech, ok pay, good free lunches, nice funding. Sam is great.

Cons

Too many issues to name. The short list: legacy code, bad security practices, constant 1am phone calls, the blame game, horrible management, no work life management, constant shuffling of priorities, projects and people. Long hours. No respect. Constant turnover. When you force out superstars constantly due to CEO looking for excuses for constant failure, you have a dead company walking. Divisions between groups. Nepotism and favoritism run rampant. If you don't speak Russian don't think about lasting more than a few months. So much potential here.

Pros

snacks, beer fridge, great company laptops

Cons

Where to begin? Bipolar/borderline abusive CEO. Rampant sexual harassment in all divisions. Other illicit behavior by senior management. Evidence of embezzlement from finance team. No clear product vision apart from "our top competitor is doing this, we need to also do this". Clearly running out of money - in early 2017 employees were told the company wouldn't seek additional funding to avoid diluting share value, 8 months later they took in another $27 million.

Wow...this one stings! As the new VP of People here at SSC, it saddens me to read this was your experience. I was hired in July to ensure our employees have the best employee experience available and I take that very seriously. If you would be so generous to share specifics (Trent@SecurityScorecard.io) we together can work to clear up some of the potential mis-perceptions and get to the bottom of some of the issues you mentioned!
