Pros

SSC has the most unique culture I've experienced. It's fast-paced, action-oriented, complete ownership - all supported by smart, kind, and collaborative people and leaders. I'm incredibly excited for the future of the company and my career. The support during my initial month and onboarding has been tremendous.

Cons

Some of the pros can be viewed as cons if you're not the right fit - you have to be ready to deliver and work fast. If you can keep up and enjoy that, it's all positive

Pros

Leadership is honest that this is not a family nor people are here to make friends. This organization is a "high performing team". Take that as you will.

Cons

The fact that Glassdoor has flagged SecurityScorecard for having fake and inflated reviews tells you everything about the ethics and (lack of) principles in this company. If you're considering a role here just don't do it and stay far away from this place. But if you're desperate enough to accept an offer then continue applying elsewhere immediately because you will get laid off eventually. No one is safe regardless of performance or tenure. The only guarantee is if the CEO likes you. Layoffs are routine and happen literally every quarter, some are announced and others are done quietly. The benefits suck, no 401k match. Our team had to constantly prove ourselves to leadership that "we're doing something" while they cap our bonuses because we "weren't doing enough and don't deserve a bonus past x%" regardless of individual performance. Yeah go ahead and get rid or slowly have the RevOps team resign and see what happens to this company. It's an incredibly toxic environment to work in, and I should have left n-1 day before my last day. I immediately noticed an improvement in my mental health, physical health, and quality of life after I left SecurityScorecard. Oh and they will pretend that they care about you here. How? By reminding you that you have a free trial to the Calm app. There's only a few ways to survive as an employee in this company: 1) have no integrity and no self respect, 2) have some or all of the same bad traits as the leadership team, 3) be a narcissist 4) treat everyone around you and below you as a number and as a disposable resource, or 5) blind loyalty to the CEO I have worked for several SaaS companies and while none were perfect, all had redeeming qualities or leaders that I'd be willing to work with again. But SecurityScorecard is the sole exception. It's the only organization that I will never work for ever again and will never recommend to anyone in my network. They say to never burn bridges, but SecurityScorecard is one bridge that's worth burning.
