Pros

The staff is supportive. You can gain knowledge and training in the customer service and claims management field.

Cons

Hours are sometimes long and the pressure to meet quotas and have fast paced accurate and thorough claims can be overwhelming at times. Also, I did not feel there was true room and training for advancement. I had my Bachelor's degree at the time of employment and felt that I could have advanced with additional training if it were available.

Pros

generous PTO work from home opportunities for select positions although this is not consistent for dedicated accounts, can build good relationships with clients

Cons

average annual pay raises have been around 1-2% unable to roll over PTO disconnect between executive communications about new business/health of the company and annual salary increases claims examiner case loads are too high so often times they are not able to be proactive no real incentive for maintaining a high level of quality
