Pros

Job security. It's a very stable company and work environment. On average, most employees have at least 28 paid days off not including holidays.

Cons

More work than any one person can handle within 7.5 hours. No bonuses period. Depending on the business needs (location or who you know) there's very little career advancement. A person with little experience (level 6) can be promoted to upper management (level 11 or 12) within a year to a newly created role. The same people usually get promoted over and over.

The health benefits are reasonably priced

Cons

Caseloads are too high to effectively do your job. They micromanage so much on clerical issues you can't get to the real work of managing claims. They won't approve overtime and turn a blind eye to those employees who work significant overtime to avoid getting in trouble for not "meeting expectations".

The Richardson Office is a HOT MESS!!! BEWARE!!!

There are a lot of vendors that come to the office and bring food and snacks.

Cons

There are to many chiefs that don't know how to manage. The is one head boss in the office, 2 managers and 5 supervisors. The office is small only about 35 employees, there is no need for that many managers. The managers micro manage, and they are very petty. There are people that curse while they are on the phone with clients. The office is just not professional. There is a lot of turnover in this office. There was a mass exodus when I left the company. The underpay and overwork. Beware!!!
