      Pros

      -At face value, the PTO allotment is indeed very generous [this is not considering the fact that if you wish to keep your head above water with your workload, taking time off equates to suicide]. -There are a number of genuinely good people in the rank and file.

      Cons

      Incompetence is pervasive in middle management. Accounts are inadequately staffed and superior performance is not rewarded. There is absolutely no parity in compensation (i.e. some truly horrendous adjusters being paid $15k more than others who are twice as efficient)

      Pros

      -for the most part very friendly and capable rank-in-file employees -on the surface seems like a gracious benefits packge -tuition reimbustment

      Cons

      -very high turnover rate -incompetent and uneducated supervisors and managers placed into leadership positions -very high case loads -unrealistic expectations -poor training and developmental systems -company is making huge profits, but instead of rewarding employees they pile on unrealistic amounts of work -no work/life balance If you are desperate and need a paycheck, you could certainly do worse than Sedgwick. If you have other alternatives with similar pay and benefits, you will be wise to pass on Sedgwick.

      It started out great and then they piled on way to heavy of a work load to do a good job.

      Pros

      Sedgwick is a great place to begin your career. They offer and excellent data base system to work with. Their system is the best in the business. People are great and it is a team oriented workplace. They offer great time off if you can find time to actually take it off.

      Cons

      Sedgwick does not care much for their employees. The company has grown way too fast. They have given employees a very high work load and it is nearly impossible to put out the quality of work that they sell to their clients.
