      Pros

      Sedgwick CMS provided great training for my first Human Resources position. The fellow Colleague Resources team at Sedgwick CMS were nothing but professional. Management was especially competent and were flexible for my role as an intern. I would definitely recommend employment as Sedgwick in certain positions.

      Cons

      Pay was okay but nothing to write home about. The technology as far as Colleague Resources goes could have been better. Some managers were confused by the new technology.

      Pros

      Sedgwick CMS offers tuition reimbursement and have some certification programs that are actually done on site. They keep a little more up to speed on technology than some other insurance companies and have a document imaging system.

      Cons

      Grossly excessive amount of work. Long hours, especially for exempt colleagues, and involving weekends. Watch for misrepresented information during interview for position. Management refuses to hire a sufficient number of employees for the tasks at hand. PTO package may look generous, but the unpaid overtime hours I have worked will soon exceed the annual amount of PTO. No coverage for your desk while you are on vacation, which leads to a stressful return.

      -Opportunities for advancement within the company if you are highly results driven. -Good/Average Benefits -Other employees are friendly and generally open.

      Cons

      -Heavy workload -Stressful -Inadequate compensation. -A refusal to allow overtime even if you have no choice but to stay late.
