There aren't any, except that there's no phone loop, only extension calls.

Cons

Where do I start? There are too many to list. Working a claim file takes an eternity because of so many redundant steps and separate notes for every step in documenting the file, reviewing coverage, making a payment. Literally everything takes 3x as long as it should. The tools you are given to work with are ridiculous - most of the time there isn't even contact information for the insured. I've never seen claims handling so inefficient. It's a 37.5 hr work week but it's impossible to get everything done in that time. Expect to work long hours and weekends - you still won't be "caught up". There are only so many hours in the day. We all have lives, family, kids...this is NOT the place you want to work. You can't carry over PTO and the benefits are a joke. Extremely high deductibles AND expensive. Insurance doesn't pay a cent until you've met the deductible.

Pros

There are some great people I worked with. Many were very knowledgeable with the client they oversaw. The benefits were also very good

Cons

One particular department was a complete disaster. No organization, nothing documented, director is a complete narcissist. This director and their boss was completely shut off from all feedback. Also, don't dare challenge the director, ask reasons why or ask them to explain why their way is better. Business ethics are completely absent from this department

Pros

The only benefit I can think of is that you got a lot of PTO .

Cons

I’ve worked in the industry for over 20 years for multiple different employers and this company just doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing compared to all of the other carriers. It seems all they care about is getting new clients even when they don’t have the staff or the resources to provide the promised services. Turnover is higher than I’ve ever seen any other company I worked for. In fact, during my time there everyone that I worked with including the supervisors quit and everyone was new before I left.
