Pros

The claims training team is very nice and helpful

Cons

I have never had a company make me feel so isolated. I was placed on a team that had zero engagement. I had to find my own answers to questions, I would ask for help and get no response. I'm was trying to learn new processes and a new claims system with zero direction. Training did help me with what they could. My manager would not check on me for days sometimes over a week at a time. I have never been on a team that gave so little crap about each other. It was awful. I actually discussed this with leadership and was told HR would reach out to me to discuss and they never did. This was not the culture I wanted so I jumped ship.

Pros

You get to say you work at Sedgwick.

Cons

Micromanagement, They value quantity over quality causing a lot of mistakes. The managers are really rude to the employees, ignore your emails, you cant use PTO, if you apply for another position in the company your current manager will block you. This has been the worst experience i have ever had in corporate america and I have a lot. The managers bully and harass the employees and their managers encourage it. 10/10 I do NOT recommend. Lots of Nepotism going on. Hard work and quality claim processing is NOT valued here

Pros

The pay is good, the benefits are good, they provide 2 months of paid training, the people are good

Cons

The workload is insane. The expectations are unreasonable. The work is boring. Management suggested to work without pay in the evenings and on weekends to catch up- that's illegal!! You will never catch up on work so you will never feel a sense of accomplishment. Lots of micromanagement from those in charge of quality assurance. Even the holiday lunch was provided by a vendor- not Sedgwick!
