Pros

Some of the projects are stimulating and generally the worker bees are nice and hardworking people.

Cons

Management does not align itself with the company's own mission statement. There is no real respect for employees and many are severely overworked. Every year there is a survey that employees are expected to fill out. Even though they say it is voluntary they pretty much force everyone to fill it out so that they can get the employer of the year award. They don't even provide constructive feedback of the survey results to the employees. It is only about the numbers, not about the content.

Pros

Amazing colleagues who also get taken advantage of

Cons

This company is an absolute joke, they give the least amount of holidays that they can, benefits are expensive and not even good, PTO and sick time are the same and it takes years to accrue a decent amount , they constantly make you work on other teams. You can apply internally after years with the company to multiple positions but they’ll just ignore your application and never speak of it again. But when they have an account with late work they’ll basically force you to handle it. I’m sure there are good jobs within the company but as a cautionary tale to anyone applying to be an examiner either in LOA or STD. RUN. They’ll pay you like trash and treat you like that too

Pros

Sedgwick is a company that cares about their employees. There is much room for advancement and no one is limited to moving up in their career. From day 1 they tell their employees of the possibilities that can open up for them to grow within the company.

Cons

From the very beginning I thought that there was not enough training in the department that I worked for. We handled insurance claims for a well known company and the associates did not have the right training and resources available to make phone calls one and done as well as satisfy the caller. Callers would complain all the time about calling multiple times and getting nowhere. These complaints were from the customers as well as any 3rd Party that was involved within an insurance claim.
