      Pros

      Good education; holidays and weekends off for directors (but of course you're exempt and end up answering texts all weekend and checking planner/schedule/Kronos on Sunday nights).

      Cons

      Pay is not up to par for directors. Raises are almost impossible to get. Productivity expectation is 90% for therapists and assistants; 50% for directors Don't expect more than $500/quarter in bonus because once you meet budget they'll raise the bar. Difficult to attract good staff.

      Network of rehab administrators at 17+ facilities to share experiences Matrix Management structure to provide local support to the facility Leadership from Kessler Rehab out of New Jersey brings latest research to company Dr. Bruce Gans, Medical Director for system brings wonderful experience to company

      Cons

      Company presents Servant Leadership Philosophy, however, this is not seen consistently outside of the corporate office. Growth strategies appear to be placing financial burden on corporation which is of concern when looking at long term growth. Lack of integration between divisions has been the downfall of other rehab companies and produces inefficiencies within leadership and potential financial burden on company as a whole. Matrix Managers decisions can interfere with effective management at the facility level.
