Pros

Several restaurant themes, can learn a lot and grow from within.

Cons

Underpaid and overworked. 24/7/365 operation. Ownership cares about the bottom line and nothing else.

Pros

Many opportunities for growth within the organization, ability to apply and transfer to different departments with openings. Benefits, free on site meals, friendly staff.

Cons

Seniority rules over all, shifts are individually picked by employees through a ranking system. Those that have been there since day one pick the best shifts, new hires get whatever is left over and there is no way around it until you've been stuck there for years, no room for advancement through hard work and skill. As far as working in the casino beverage department, not so great. Customers are low class and rude, tips are generally minimal, if a tip is given at all. New hires will generally get assigned to work the worst shifts in the worst locations. Managers are rude and put little to no effort into their jobs, expect a lot of micromanagement. The standard of health is grotesque.
