Pros

Fantastic, talented, and dedicated group of people going after an interesting problem with potential for huge impact. Low-drama and low-ego.

Cons

Big challenges and a lot of work to do with a small team, so nowhere to hide! Early stage, so you have to be comfortable filling in empty space and taking ownership.

Pros

Sense has a great team: enthusiastic, determined, helpful, nurturing, and experienced. The product is squarely customer-focused, and fills a clear need: home energy intelligence. Management has a good appreciation of work/life balance. This is not a sweatshop.

Cons

Lots and lots of work to do, and it's a hard problem we're going after. If you just want to reimplement what others have done, and want an easy stack overflow answer to any problem you might encounter, this is not the place for you. If you're at your best charging into an unknown problem space, and getting it done the hard way if that's what it takes, then get in touch!

Pros

Company culture here is amazing, unlike any place I have ever worked. Everyone here has the opportunity to provide feedback on what's working, what should be improved, or where there are issues. Management really listens and incorporates feedback. They are dedicated to making this an awesome place to work. Product is completely innovative. Defining a new industry. Very cool to be working on a hard technology problem and shipping product features to real customers. Experienced management team. Not their first rodeo.

Cons

It's a startup so definitely the speed of change is not for everyone. The structure is pretty flat so no clear path to promotion, but pretty normal for a startup. As company grows, it seems like those opportunities will emerge.
