Pros
Sense has a great team: enthusiastic, determined, helpful, nurturing, and experienced. The product is squarely customer-focused, and fills a clear need: home energy intelligence. Management has a good appreciation of work/life balance. This is not a sweatshop.
Cons
Lots and lots of work to do, and it's a hard problem we're going after. If you just want to reimplement what others have done, and want an easy stack overflow answer to any problem you might encounter, this is not the place for you. If you're at your best charging into an unknown problem space, and getting it done the hard way if that's what it takes, then get in touch!
