Pros
I have nothing but the respect for the owner. He's been open, direct, and accessible. He continually asks for feedback from employees and the work environment is made such that it's relaxed but productive. We're all working remotely for the most part now, but when we were in the office it would not be unheard of to see the owner walk through cubicles and ask someone if they wanted to play a game of pingpong or darts in the break room. The company continually impresses me with how they treat employees. I'm a person here, not a number.
Cons
I think the only downside to working at Sensera at the moment is a lack of retirement or 401K, but as a small company the benefits they currently offer - is competitive. And it's not that a 401K or retirement is out of the question, it's just not priced right at the moment for the company to commit to and it's been on the table and has been open for discussion.
