Thank you for sharing your candid feedback with us. At Sensible Care, we are deeply committed to the 'Human Connection' — it's essential that everyone, be they employees or patients, feels genuinely acknowledged, understood, and valued. Your thoughts on the employee experience are crucial to us, and we continually aim to strike the right balance between caring for our team and our patients. Regarding compensation, we endeavor to provide our Providers with competitive packages, inclusive of PTO, sick days, and 13 paid holidays. Our primary objective is to ensure our employees have stability and peace of mind, even amidst unexpected situations like client no-shows or cancellations. To further support this, we've adapted our bonus structure, presenting an opportunity for providers to earn significantly above their base salary. It's genuinely heartening to see many of our therapists achieving these bonus thresholds, and we remain dedicated to continuous improvement in all aspects of our employee experience. On the subject of professional growth, we take immense pride in our 'Promote from Within' philosophy. This commitment is why we don't externally advertise positions such as "Senior Therapist"; we believe in advancing our existing staff. Every one of our Lead Therapists began their journey here as a Staff Therapist. This ethos isn't just limited to our clinical teams; across the board, many who began in entry-level capacities now play pivotal roles in management and supervision. In terms of transparency, we make concerted efforts to be open and forthcoming. All company-related information is accessible on a company wiki. Moreover, our monthly newsletter, a hub for company news, updates, and milestones—including those cherished internal promotions—is a testament to this commitment. We genuinely appreciate your feedback. Please rest assured that your perspective is not only acknowledged but also essential to Sensible Care's evolution.

Pros

Some of the relationships you develop will be lifelong, gym reimbursement, the schedule is pretty flexible, remote with the option of in-office work if you so choose, 401K matching

Cons

If you want to work for a company that deteriorates your mental health, this is your place! The compensation at this company is a joke, period. California is one of the country's most expensive states, and administration (care coordinators, credentialing, billing team, etc.) makes $40k-$45k, which is pennies - especially for Orange County, and dare you ask for a raise! Turnover rates are ridiculous, and therapists are coming in just as quickly as they're going. When I started working here, I enjoyed the environment and the people. Now, it feels fake and forced. This company fosters a sense of toxic positivity, and in your face, it seems warm and genuine, but it's not. You're not treated like a person but like a commodity putting money in the executive's pockets. The company's name truly isn't fitting because Sensible does not Care.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely value the insights and experiences of all our team members. At Sensible Care, our main goal is to continually enhance both the patient and employee experience. Addressing your concerns: Location-Based Salary: Only 3% of our workforce in Orange County falls under the $50K salary, while most of our entry-level associates are situated in regions with different living costs. Salary Increases: We're proud to share that 90% of employees with us for over a year received a raise in 2023. Turnover Rates: In 2023, our clinical turnover was 4.8% and non-clinical was 2.75%. In 2022, both clinical and non-clinical turnover rates stood at a mere 1%. Mental Health Leadership: We take your feedback about leadership in mental health seriously. We are proud to note that a significant number of our leadership team, including those in VP, Director, and Lead roles, are licensed practitioners. It's always our aim to ensure that Sensible Care stands out not only in patient care but also as a workplace. Thank you again for your feedback.
