      Pros

      The company has product I'm proud to work with. We have a diverse and interesting staff that brings many different points of view to the work. The new office space is really nice. The people are what makes the company. The new managment say they want to make changes-be different than "what we had before". I see strides being made to implement that.

      Cons

      The company has only been in it's current location for less than 6 months and we are still working through some transition pains from our corporate relocation.The employee benefits need to be updated to be current with others in the industry. Not much recognition for individual employees. More effort needs to be made if the company really wants to be different/better than in the past.

      Pros

      Sensient is a great place to work if you are goal oriented, driven and want to make a difference in the workplace. Many opportunities for growth and development are available. Competitive compensation.

      Cons

      nothing major - this is a place where you will be held accountable but along with accountability you are also given responsibility to succeed.

      Pros

      I like my ability to influence/ improve the organization and make independent decisions - no micro-management. Also there is very little bureaucracy, decisions are made quickly at all levels. Good performance is recognized in the form of promotion and money. Tremendous amount of broad global experience in an interesting industry. I have more experience in my function than people 5 to 10 years my senior outside of Sensient due to the structure and culture.

      Cons

      Fast pace and lean structure result in some challenging days, but with that comes really good experience. It was a challenge for me to adapt to Sensient - coming from a large, slow moving matrix organization with 3 bosses, Sensient is opposite of this!
