      Pros

      Health benefits are very good. Pay is better than other local hospitals. Team environment overall. Flexible schedule. Continued education is encouraged and financial aid is available. Ability to advance within the company.

      Cons

      Managers had a tendency to favor some employees over others and consequences were not equal at times. Many times not enough staff to cover all sections and employees unable to have significant breaks and/or lunch or dinner breaks.

      Progressive healthcare system Aiming to be one of the best in the nation

      Cons

      Not enough IT support for what is being asked, have moved up project time lines while cutting staff. Reimbursement is low compared to the Richmond market area for IT staff in healthcare.

      shift differiential used to be 8/hr; new technology;

      Cons

      improper training, lack of communication; management lacks direct contact and feedback; no chain of command and open door policy; no wingman; training inadequate with no resources; will throw you to the wolves; do not trust management to look in your best interest; not a wecoming experience
