Pros

Sentry knows that their associates, no matter their position, are all valuable assets to the smooth running of the company. They offer good benefits and a 401k and multiple annual celebrations to maintain the culture.

Cons

Working in customer service and on the phones can be stressful simply because of the sheer number of claims they handle daily, and there isn't much room for growth unless you get specific insurance designations.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It’s great to know you feel valued and are happy with our company culture. We absolutely recognize how important each person is to our overall success. We also want to help everyone fulfill their career goals. Many associates got their start in entry-level claims positions and have since moved into more advanced claims roles or moved into other roles throughout the company. If you’re interested in advancing, I encourage you to use SentryU as a training resource and to also discuss your goals with your manager. Thanks again for your review. Thank you for working with us. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed our competitive benefits and a healthy work/life balance. Associates who work in First Notice of Loss (FNOL) play a very important role in our claims process, not only to us but to the companies and people we help protect. Because we always need to be ready to be notified of a loss, associates who work in FNOL have more variable schedules than others in the company. We understand these schedules can be challenging for some, so we do our best to adjust schedules fairly. I encourage anyone with scheduling challenges to reach out to their managers and discuss their options. Thank you again for your review—I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I’m happy you feel supported and enjoy keeping busy. Claim volume tends to vary so I recognize your workload may be challenging at times. If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed, please let your manager know. We work hard to monitor workloads for our claims associates, so we can help ensure everyone has enough support. Thank you again for your feedback. Michele Dufresne – Chief Claims Officer
